In 2024 we completed a three-day trek across Iceland to raise funds for World Child Cancer.
In low- and middle-income countries fewer than 1 in 10 children with cancer are diagnosed, treated or given pain relief. World Child Cancer improves cancer care for some of the world’s poorest children by creating international twinning partnerships between medics hospitals and parent support groups.
A long-time supporter of World Child Cancer, Wiggett Gorup was very proud to raise £40,459 for the charity and thrilled to experience the dramatic scenery of Iceland. The physical accomplishment alongside the fundraising achievement was awesome.
